The fine print
Please note JAG Escape Franz Alpine Retreat is located 5 km outside of the nearest town. There are no shops or public transport services nearby and the road in to the town is not suitable for pedestrians. It is also therefore not suitable for guests travelling via bus.Please note that when you are booking for more than 2 people in the One-Bedroom Chalet, you will be provided with an additional bedroom. Please specify if you would like 2 double beds or 1 double bed and 2 single beds, using the special request box or contacting the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.Please note that there is a 2.5% surcharge when you pay with the credit cards.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

This was a lovely little cabin around 2km outside Franz Josef. It was clean, well decorated and had most of the facilities I needed. I loved the fact that it had a separate living room and bedroom. It also had a seating area both inside and outside the property.

We got a cabin with a view of local scenery and a late check out as it was quiet which was great. Location is good if you have a car, as it is about a 5-10 minute drive to local restaurants etc. bed was comfortable and area was clean. We used the portable heater in the bedroom which was great.

clean room, amazing location, breathtaking views in the morning. The area is close to the town center by car but still very private and quiet!
