The fine print
Please note JAG Escape Franz Alpine Retreat is located 5 km outside of the nearest town. There are no shops or public transport services nearby and the road in to the town is not suitable for pedestrians. It is also therefore not suitable for guests travelling via bus.Please note that when you are booking for more than 2 people in the One-Bedroom Chalet, you will be provided with an additional bedroom. Please specify if you would like 2 double beds or 1 double bed and 2 single beds, using the special request box or contacting the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.Please note that there is a 2.5% surcharge when you pay with the credit cards.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Quiet location, beautiful mountain views, well set up cabins, kitchen was ready for full meal cooking

Spacious, modern, and clean, good view and cosy location. Feels quite new. Small kitchenette but well equipped. Small private deck (front-facing) with chairs which are great for stargazing. Smart TV which supports chromecast. 2 heaters so warmth was not a problem. Would stay again, especially if the shower was reinstalled.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, even in the face of a severe atmospheric river storm. The accommodation was clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully prepared—everything we needed was on hand, which made a big difference during such extreme weather conditions. One thoughtful touch we really appreciated was that they provided access to their own Netflix account, which made it easy to relax and stay entertained while we were indoors waiting out the storm. What really stood out was how accommodating and responsive our hosts were throughout. They checked in on us, made sure we were safe, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable despite the challenging circumstances. It’s clear they care deeply about their guests' well-being. We felt safe, supported, and truly at home. Highly recommend this place, rain or shine!
