Periwinkle is in a beautiful location with stunning views. The apartment is well equipped and maintained. I would recommend a sloping walkway by the stairs for trolley luggage access as the stairs can be a problem for people with limited mobility and the elderly. My only complaint is that there is no WiFi connection available. In today’s world internet access is expected, especially for foreign travellers. Roaming charges can be very costly.

I immediately liked the place and would happily return anytime! To me, it’s a hidden gem. It could use a bit of maintenance and a better sleeper couch, so I’ll be sure to check these points before my next visit. I do hope they address the minor maintenance issues quickly. I really appreciate the safety and "luxury" of staying there, while enjoying the beautiful sea views and feeling comfortable inside the place. I loved the kitchen and enjoyed cooking there. However, the cupboards could use a little maintenance, as there was some mould on the wooden boards and a bit of a smell. It wasn’t ideal, but I managed as I had some of my own kitchen utensils. The layout worked perfectly for me, and I especially loved the peace and quiet. Having coffee on the stoep every morning while overlooking the sea was such a treat! I truly loved my stay, though I did have to address a few maintenance issues. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
