A beautiful house with generous sized rooms. Martha and the team were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent: lots of it, fresh, variety. I would highly recommend a stay here. There is a complimentary wine tasting - also a great experience.

Wonderful stay at this winery. This property only has 4 rooms so there is a special intimate atmosphere which is definitely helped by the amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The house is full of old world charm.

We loved the heritage setting in Franschhoek, with beautiful scenery. The room was spacious, clean and very tastefully decorated. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was very enjoyable - the quality and variety of food was fantastic and the setting in the courtyard overlooking the pool was peaceful and serene.

Rickety Bridge is a picture-perfect wine estate with breathtaking views, the most delicious wines, and lovely staff. The quintessential Manor House is really special, with only three large rooms (we stayed in Chardonnay under the thatched roof), loads of lounging space, exclusive kitchen and pool, and most importantly, two exceptionally warm and witty hosts, Martha and Susan. Our room was so comfortable and included high-end amenities, e.g. heated flooring, air conditioning, bath, separate shower, TV with DSTV, coffee machine, and minibar with nice mix of alcohol and soft drinks. Everywhere was spotlessly clean too. Breakfast was one of the most lavish and well executed I’ve ever experienced, with numerous fresh options for any taste delivered as and when we were ready. Martha and Susan looked after us so well - nothing was too much to ask. Wine tasting was included in our rate and showcased the superb wines produced on the estate. Bottles available to buy were very reasonably priced too - bonus! Thank you for making our stay so magical, we cannot wait to return :)
