Absolutely gorgeous mansion house, both inside and outside. The house has a heated outdoor swimming pool and a large garden - there is even a grand piano you can play in the living room! The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. The location is quiet. It's best to come with a car - Chateau de Chenonceau is about 10min drive away and Amboise/Clos de Lucé about 20mins, and there is a supermarket about 10mins away in Bléré. The rooms have everything you need, including kettle, mini fridge, bathrobes and extra towels and flipflops for the pool. You can also log into your own Netflix/Amazon Prime on the TV. We had the 3 person room with the four poster bed and 1 single bed. The four poster bed was very large and comfortable and the bathroom is very big.

Jane, Kristoff and Camilla were most welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The property and grounds are beautiful, set in the hamlet of Francueil. We spent five wonderfully relaxing days at Le Moulin De Francueil, with its lovely swimming pool and all round homely atmosphere, surrounded by antique furniture. There is ample parking, outside the front door. Montrichard is the nearest town, with shops and plenty of restaurants.Blére, with two supermarkets, is a couple of km away.

There was truly nothing we didn’t like! Everything about our stay at Moulin de Francueil was exceptional. The hospitality was above and beyond. With two small children in tow, we deeply appreciated the comfort, the thoughtful facilities (from the pool and outdoor space to the indoor chess and checkers), and most of all, the genuine warmth and care. What makes this place so special is its attention to detail. They remembered what we loved for breakfast, anticipated what we needed before we even asked, and made us feel not just welcomed, but known. Our room was perfect for our little family, with just the right amount of space and dreamy views that made it hard to leave. We would recommend over and over.

The host family were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived on a French National holiday and they were very helpful in booking us a restaurant for the evening meal. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The room was beautifully decorated. The location was excellent for exploring the Loire
