We loved the nice room with balcony to the sea front.nIt felt like the sea was directly in front of our window. The hotel has the feeling of another century with a lot of charm.

Elsa was an outstanding host! She greeted us every time we entered and exited the property. She provided a wonderful European breakfast every morning with fruit, bread, meat, cheese, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juice, etc! The rooms were quaint and cozy with beautiful views of the beach and ocean! The property’s dining room and bar area take you back in time….and are great places to curl up with a book and a glass of wine!! George was also a fantastic host…communicating with Portuguese couriers to ensure our lost airline baggage was delivered to a neighboring bus station. An absolutely beautiful hotel with wonderful caretakers…who exceeded all expectations!!

Incredible location, absolutely worth the journey: the building goes back to the beginning of the 20th century, it has got a certain flair, the light is astounding, the rooms very clean. Excellent breakfast prepared with love by the landlady herself.
