Motel Overview

Mt. Cook View Motel offers self-contained accommodation in Fox Glacier, with stunning views of Aoraki (Mt. Cook) and Mt. Tasman. It features free Wi-Fi, barbecue facilities and free parking.

Generous room-size, attractive, well-appointed facilities; peaceful location. Park at your back-door, step in and open the sliding door at the front for a lovely view of the countryside. Helpful, friendly email check-in communications.

The owner was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The resident dog came to greet us when we arrived and later bought us his ball for a play which the kids loved. Very cute. We had lovely views of the glacier from our room.

Location is great! Staff are lovely. Was greeted by the sweetest most gentle dogs. ( adorable!!) plenty of parking space. Suite was large and spacious. Up to date kitchen and bathroom facilities! Great value for money. And great views as advertised, lake matheson and glacial view point 3 minutes up the road. Central to all cafes, bars, and adventure spots.
