It’s a quaint house in Fouriesburg. Compared To the very busy, hyped and somewhat overpriced Clarens, Fouriesburg is quiet, laid back and enjoys spectacular vistas. The guest house is located right at the edge of the town. We only stayed one night and really enjoyed the ease of access, the hospitable owner and the comfortable sleep. The rooms are clean, albeit not very big, more than enough for a short stay. The coffee station is a great additions and the shower is fabulous, not to mention the electric blankets and heater (temperatures dropped to -5 when we stayed there).

The guesthouse is very clean. The bed that we stayed in was incredibly comfortable. We were grateful to have a private en-suite bathroom and the amenities in the room were convenient. The shower gel provided was great and smelt like rooibos tea. The shared kitchen had everything we needed and it was well maintained. The guesthouse has a great view if you sit outside on the swing chair. I didn't see it in the pics so it was a lovely surprise.

The place is perfectly situated and the owner/host is very friendly. Beds were comfy. Just a thing we noticed the the Wifi is just a bit up and down. They have back-up power for when the weather gets bad which is really a plus. Just take note that the water in the shower the flow out is suddenly and plentifully so just be carefully when opening the warm water and the flow is not constant. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay.
