“Great little base just outside La Fortuna (walkable)”

Great little location just a 15 minute walk from La Fortuna. Quiet little house tucked back from the the main road. It had a big gated yard with a small pool (great for cooling off) and nice to park the car rental in when we were out and about. The place is charming with just what you need. A kitchenette with the basics for breakfast etc. Coffee maker, toaster, blender, kettle and hot plate. 2 beds (both comfy) and a bathroom with warm shower. The WiFi was good and stable and they had a TV with netflix etc We enjoyed our morning breakfast routine sitting on the patio enjoying the view of the volcano and listening to all the sounds of nature There are posts about the dogs next door barking and although they do occasionally bark at mainly motor bikes coming right by them, we found them to be very well behaved and after talking to them each time we passed they even greeted us with excitement and wagging tails by the 2nd day

The property is stand alone and was very clean. The property is a bit outside of the main town (15 min walking) which makes it a bit more quiet and there is a kitchen. The host was also helpful.
