Great starting point for exploring the area. I went on a few tours from the hotel and I am thrilled! The communal areas are really nice, especially the pool. In the evening you could enjoy cocktails by/in the pool to good music. But it was calm by 10 pm. The staff is friendly. 😊

Diego, the staff member at Poshtel Arsenal, truly made my stay exceptional. From the moment I arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and help me navigate my Costa Rican adventure. His expertise was invaluable – he not only guided me through transportation options from San Jose but also assisted me in booking shuttles and recommending tours. The hostel itself is fantastic, with a welcoming atmosphere that stands out from other accommodations I experienced in Costa Rica. A highlight was definitely the heated pool, which provided a perfect relaxation spot after a day of exploring. The overall vibe of the place is warm, inviting, and social – exactly what you want in a great hostel.
