Food, area, activities, room, facilities and especially the staff are all amazing. Hands down the best place I have ever stayed at. Not only is the whole area beautiful but the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful :) Some people think that it is a bit far from things but after staying nearer the centre of La Fortuna I can confidently say this is much better - more peaceful and within local life and nature, instead of an rundown hotel in a peak tourism hotspot - but that’s just my opinion. Perhaps look at the location on a map in comparison to things you want to see, but as the roads here are easy to navigate it shouldn’t be much of an issue

Our recent stay at La Finca Lodge was an absolute highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. From the moment we arrived, the staff, from the reception to the restaurant, were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile. Their warmth truly enhanced our experience. One of our first and most memorable moments was spotting a beautiful, colourful parrot right on the property – what a perfect introduction to the incredible biodiversity of Costa Rica! We also highly recommend the ATV tour offered by the lodge. It was an exhilarating way to explore the stunning Costa Rican countryside and led us to some truly wonderful natural hot springs. The best part? They weren't crowded at all, allowing us to fully relax and soak in the tranquility. Waking up to the sounds of nature each morning was pure bliss. Enjoying a cup of coffee in the hammock while watching the sunrise was a peaceful ritual we looked forward to every day. The houses are located so perfectly that you don't even feel that you have neighbours, offering a real sense of privacy. While the rooms are basic, they have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We found the beds to be comfortable, and even the pillows, which we often have issues with when traveling, were great! As well, one of the things that often bothers me when arriving at properties is the lack of hair conditioner, but no issues here – they even provided a very nice range of toiletries. If you're seeking a genuine escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and crave a peaceful, nature-filled experience, La Finca Lodge is the perfect destination. We wholeheartedly recommend it and can't wait to return!

We really enjoyed staying at La Finca. We managed to see lots of animals and beautiful plants. The hammock on the terrace was so amazing! The pool and the hot tub are also relaxing after a tiring day. There are mini horses and donkeys in the property,they were really cute.
