Our two-night stay at the River Cottage was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hosts had gone above and beyond to create a premium, welcoming experience. Here are a few highlights from our stay: Immaculate & Well-Appointed: The cottage was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Thoughtful Breakfast Items: We were impressed by the selection of breakfast items provided. It’s those small, extra touches that really set a property apart and made our mornings so much easier. The Perfect Location: It is ideally situated close to town, making it incredibly convenient to explore Fort William’s local shops and restaurants while still providing a peaceful place to retreat to at the end of the day. Bonus Amenities: Having a washing machine available was a total game-changer for us mid-trip—a massive bonus that we truly appreciated! Excellent Communication: The host’s communication was fantastic from start to finish—proactive, friendly, and very helpful. If you are looking for a perfect, stress-free base in Fort William, look no further. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely one bedroom apartment with bedroom and en suite bathroom upstairs and living room/kitchenette and toilet and sink downstairs. Exactly as the pictures show. Apartment was very clean. Kitchenette had plenty of plates, curlery, pots etc. Great communication with owners. Would recommend for the area.

The place was very clean and the host even put lil things in the fridge like milk and stuff like that. It has 2 toilets which is a game changer. Location is perfect for the mountains and walking to town. Very quiet and well looked after. Would definitely book again.

The property was immaculate, had everything you needed, plus more, it has been renovated to a very high standard, Debbie was a great host, when we arrived after a 4 1/2 hour drive, Debbie had kindly left milk fruit biscuits & porridge, for us on arrival, definitely a ten out of ten property, was also a great base, for exploring the local attractions
