This hotel has recently changed ownership and the new patrons are in the process of upgrading the facilities, and have exciting plans for the restaurant. We had an excellent stay, fantastic quality and value food and drink in the restaurant, and care and attention to detail from the owners, who could not have done more to welcome us and make us feel at home.

Very pleasant change from standard chain hotels for a comparable price, lovely old building, clean and comfortable, pleasant hosts and superb food in the on-site restaurant. We were here for work but the surrounding scenery is stunning and looks like a lovely place to take a holiday, one day...
