Dinner: Should you wish to dine at the hotel, advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Dinner inclusive rates include dinner to the value of £50 per adult to be taken in either restaurant.Please note that the Forest Brasserie Dinner is available every Saturday and each evening during school holiday periods, with last orders at 7.30pm. Dress Code: Whilst we do not operate a dress code, most of our guests choose smart casual or formal wear.Children - unless otherwise specified, our children's rates are inclusive of accommodation and full English breakfast. All other meals will be charged as taken.

It was grand and well kept. Beautiful surroundings. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The spa facilities were lovely and clean.

Great for kids at Christmas. We were given a bag with Christmas puzzles and games, a Christmas hat and a letter to write to Father Christmas. There was a special post box for children to put it in. Lovely idea and a HUGE Christmas tree in the reception area. My 7 year old was completely entranced by the magic. Such fun! The swimming pool was great too. Good that the hotel allow children in the pool 9am - 12 and 3 - 6pm. They had noodles to play with. A nice warm changing area too.

All staff were super friendly, the building had character, lovely Xmas decks, fab breakfast with a massive variety to choose from, beds were comfy, fantastic products to use during stay, great basic gym, could use the facilities before and after check out which was brilliant service.

Hotel was not busy. Lovely rural location, attentive staff, good breakfast. Great pool and spa. We hired bikes from the hotel and enjoyed the forest area

Beautiful location , quiet and peaceful, very good food in both restaurants, really enjoyable breakfast. I had a spa treatment sea spray detox with full body massage . Felt great after. The hotel and spa staff are friendly and helpful. First night, our radiator didn't work in the room, which was very cold, we reported it to the receptionist, and they immediately moved us to another room and upgraded us to a suite we will definitely be staying again .

Staff friendly location was lovely. Breakfast was excellent cooked to a high standard. Served in the hotel Evening meal was fine but location not ideal. Having to go outside to the spa facilities on a November night not what was expected and regrettably detracted from the evening.
