The private patio with hot tub!! The food was superb.. The South African connection/influence. The staff were very friendly and helpful.especially Jason . The bonus was they had Dom Pedro's on the menu which is a SA cocktail and the only place we have ever come acrooss to have on offer here in the UK!! 🇿🇦

The property was beautifully maintained with large free carpark in a lovely location, and was perfect for our overnight stay whilst on our way to meet up with family the next day. The room facilities were excellent (with lovely posh biscuits provided with the teamaking stuff). The bed was very comfortable, and after a good night's sleep we enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony of the 'Beech Room' overlooking the immaculately kept gardens. We also enjoyed a pint on the sunny tables outside after our walk to nearby Fordingbridge (which is only a mile away, but the lane is a bit narrow / tricky with traffic so you need to be careful).

The location was good for our needs. Enjoyed the fact that we were able to have an evening meal, despite it being a Sunday. The meal was very good. The property is dog friendly which helps a lot and why we booked a room. There was also a hot tub available on the decking to our room which was pleasant and relaxing.

Breakfast was 10/10 and the owner could not have been more helpful, locals said he had just took the pub over and it was the best thing that could have happened
