The pub was cold. We requested a heater for our bedroom as the radiator didn't work. A lack of warmth in the bar area, where the Woodburner stood might have helped had it been alight. The breakfast room was likewise chilly, clean but unloved. Cooked breakfast was adequate. Good tea and toast. Unfortunately the sausage in the 'full English' and some accompanying unidentifiable sauce repeated all through the day. I feel we should have a refund!

Located in a delightful hamlet, lovely walks from the Inn. Charmingly decorated, quirky but not outlandish - comfortable and welcoming. Lovely new shower room. Good, full English breakfast, waitress service. A good evening menu, including a fabulous Ghurka menu - we enjoyed a great curry and accompaniments. Restaurant obviously very popular so be sure to book.

Lovely staff, welcoming and friendly. Great food, especially the Nepalese dishes. Great quirky old Inn with lots of pretty walks around the area. And we won on the Bingo.
