This was an excellent property located outside Floripa. The bedrooms were comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful. Special recognition to Diogo, who helped me out after a minor accident on a hiking trail (nothing to do with this hotel)

Refugio do Cacupé is a place of blissful tranquility thst makes you feel like you were in nature, even though it is just a short drive from the centre. The building is beautiful and allows you to hang in a hammock even on rainy days. Staff was super friendly - just as the dogs there. It is a place to truly disconnect you from your everyday life and is at the same time well-conmected to any restaurants, trails or beaches you might want to visit. Even though we didn't have a car and the tranquil location means it is a bit off and rather secluded, we got around just fine using Uber or walking - so don't discard this wonderful pousada if it is due to not having a car available ;)
