My recent stay at The Magnificent was good. Communication with staff was easy and friendly via whatsapp. I arrived a little early and gaining entry to store luggage was so helpful. The room was spacious, harmonious and relatively quiet for such a busy street between Santissima Annunziata and the Duomo. The bed was by far the most comfortable I experienced in Florence. Easy to access at street level with only half a dozen steps to negotiate once inside the building. Conveniently, there are great cafes and a supermarket nearby and luggage storage is available across the street at Residence Hilda who were also great. Overall, I felt happy, secure and comfortable at The Magnificent as a solo traveller.

Perfect place for a 3 days stay in Florence at the end of March. 5 minutes from Cathédrale Santa Maria del Fiore. We just have to cross the street to enter Ricosi, a marvellous place for breakfast with very smiling and kind italian women and delicious sweeties. 5 minutes from tramway line T2 which bring you back to the Airport. The room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom nice. We only meet a little problem with the heather we didn't manage to control. The communication with the guest on WhatsApp was very kind and fluid. I recommand this place.

This was simply the best location for a solo traveller (female) like myself. Totally central with the Duomo in sight which also acted as a landmark so I didn't get lost. The room itself was very spacious with a gorgeous high ceiling, beautiful shutter windows and the most comfortable bed and pillows. Beautiful decorating and a very authentic Italian vibe to it. The staff welcomed me with a small bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely touch. Flavia, Frederico, Francesca and Morena were all simply lovely to me, and treated me as a member of their family during my stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they even offered me a new apartment when the hot water temporarily went off in our building. Everything they did was top notch even down to the timing of my arrival, with the codes etc needed to access the doors. They could not have been more caring and kind. I miss the place so much already and didn't want to leave.
