The location was excellent, a 15min walk from the train station and about 500m from the Ponte Vecchio, it's walking distance to everything. The room was excellent, very spacious, a large comfortable bed, great garden views form the oversized window. Frescos on the ceiling add a nice added touch in the city of art and culture.

after doing some extensive research on where to stay, i happened upon the Palazzo D'Oltrano & after reading many of the reviews, i conquer that this hotel is a perfect stay. Myself & my partner (whom we were there celebrating her 40th) could not fault it. The location is excellent, only a brief 10min stroll into the city centre over one of the 2 bridges close to the apartments, the rooms were a treat for the eyes with such grandeur & renaissance feel, the staff were friendly & helpful as if staying with a friend & the area itself was perfect, not only distance to the city centre, but for places to eat & drink. You will struggle more choosing where to go rather than finding where to go. The staff were even kind enough to surprise us with a bottle of wine in honour of my gf's 40th.

This is a terrific location in Florence. Walking distance to every major attraction and museum. Staff were incredible. Always helping with advice. Rooms large and very comfortable.
