Hotel in good position only 20 minutes along a beautiful river into the old town which has all the wonderful old sights to see. We were visiting for the world hedgehog wildlife convention held just outside the ancient area. Transport is easy as well now that I identify as a hedgehog I’m quite bulky but fit in everything even the lift which was a squeeze but the staff helped push me in with the aid of protective gloves. The hotel has a lovely bar on the top floor with a swimming pool with nice views and nearby is a carre five and a kebab shop if you need any bits and pieces or a slug

Lovely modern hotel. The superior room was large and spacious with great bathroom facilities. The bar dining room was good, with plenty to eat for breakfast and the staff were very pleasant. It was about a 15 minute walk along the river to get to the centre of Florence.
