We loved Laura from her welcome until we said goodbye. She was positive and helpful. Her partner was friendly when we saw him too. Breakfast was outstanding! The bed was comfortable. We also had an extra sofa that was useful and we liked the shelving units too. Use of the kitchen was handy. I also spent a couple of hours on the balcony one sunny afternoon. We found a nice trattoria, San Jacopina not too far away.

Firstly I booked somewhere else but I read an article about Firenze and they suggested that one of the places to stay was Il Giglio Rosso. So I cancelled the first one. Laura is very polite and suggested to me Pisa, but I didn't follow her suggestion leaving it for a next occasion The room was simple, the bed was comfortable, the lighting very good, the towels big enough, the wifi strong, the bathroom has everything needed and especially hot water. I enjoyed the place and I walked to all the places of interest since it was close.

We had a wonderful stay! Laura was a fantastic host — very welcoming, helpful, and cooperative throughout our visit. She kindly allowed us to check in early, which made our arrival much more comfortable. We also really appreciated being able to conveniently leave our bags after check-out. The location is excellent and very well connected, making it easy to get around. Highly recommended!
