Central location on the Piazza Santa Maria Novella, 5 mins walk from the station. Very comfortable and well equipped room, great view of the piazza. Hotel staff excellent and very welcoming and could not do enough to help - for example, booking tables in recommended restaurants. Superb!

We arrived by car and this was the only slight complication, due to the excellent location of the hotel. However the staff were extremely helpful with directions and we were eventually able to park for a limited time outside of the hotel while the car was collected. It was not clear from the booking but parking is not at the hotel and it is a paid extra. This was explained clearly once the hotel was contacted prior to arrival. It was well worth paying for, 49Euro for 24 hours and E4/hour thereafter. Given the location the is well worthwhile. The hotel is right on the square in a great spot with restaurants right outside if wanted. The hotel is extremely smart inside and has a boutique feel about it. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The lobby is stylish as is the lounge area. The rooms are comfortable, a double a good size for a few nights and well equipped with all comforts. Breakfast was excellent with all that you could need and again the staff were perfect. In all for a few nights in Florence this is the perfect spot to stay and great value.
