Wonderful building, layout, good rooms, the staff super friendly. From the reception team, the bag handlers, and the knowledgeable bar team that knew the history about michaelangelo working at a young age in the building, all very good. Location is great as outside the heavy touristy areas, so more relaxed but very easy walking distance. Also some good local restaurants nearby. Rooms are very comfortable too

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and spent a few days traveling around Italy. When we arrived in Florence, we chose Hotel Orto Medici and it was truly an amazing choice. The hotel is very well located, beautiful, and really cozy. The entire staff was incredibly kind and attentive, which made our stay even more special. The breakfast is delicious with great options, and the room is extremely comfortable and spotless. We loved everything! We even received a small gift for our honeymoon, which was such a lovely touch. We would definitely recommend it!
