The staff are delightful. So helpful and pleasant, with breakfast served by nonna e nonno. (I suspect the cakes were made by nonna) This was the best breakfast experience I've had over 6 Italian trips. No self service, requests are made and fulfilled at the counter. There is fresh tea and coffee, cereal, toast, freshly prepared eggs to order, sandwiches, cheese, croissants, and an assortment of desserts, including tiramisu and Crostata di noci. The room was so modern and incredibly clean and well maintained. I loved the cleaner, she kept our room incredibly neat, tidying toiletries up etc. The Aircon was brilliant and effective. Comfortable bed and charger points for phones next to the bed. Stand for suitcase. Lovely clean marble floors. An old fashioned small key safe for valuables. Fridge, and kettle with tea and coffee. Reception had items to borrow such as plug adaptors and books. It was close to centre, restaurants and train station, without being noisy.
