The room was spacious and the location was great. The hotel is a 10 to 20 minute walk from all things wonderful in Florence. The bathroom was clean. The continental breakfast was perfect.

The location was great. It was away from the main overly touristy area but very close to everything. We especially liked the old building.

This is a very nice place to spend a few nights just about 15-minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio, the medieval bridge over the Arno River which makes it an excellent base for exploring the city. It is wheelchair accessible and the room we stayed in was equally accessible with a good walk-in shower and great air conditioning. The staff are very friendly and although our booking did not include breakfast there are lots of place for breakfast close by.
