Very warm welcome in a beautiful and historic place. Lovely room and spacious bathroom with a stunning view of the garden and a very decent breakfast. Loved that the car was safe and sound in the car park too.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Santo Nome di Gesu while we explored Florence. The former convent is a beautiful old building to stay in, and is renovated to a very comfortable modern standard. We had beautiful views over the square and the gardens towards the city, which were especially special to see at night. While not in the middle of Florcene, it was a very easy 5-10-minute walk into the centre of town, and staying here was a great base. Walking over the briedge each day was a great part of our experience of Florence. We enjoyed the location, being a little removed from the hustle and bustle of the tourists but not miles away. The room we had was very comfortable and clean and had a huge bathroom. While there was no TV in the room and we found we were so busy we did not need one, if you do need one, there is a communal lounge room with comfortable chairs and a large TV. The staff are warm and welcoming and will make you feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, and we appreciated the variety on offer. We really loved having the opportunity to stay in the lovely old convent and to be able to walk around the grounds. Walking up the central staircase made the building feel special, as if we were really living in history and know that our stay was supporitng the upkeep of this beautiful building.
