This was exactly what I was looking for, somewhere very Italian in a central location. I loved the wide stone staircase and the high ceilings and I was delighted to turn out of the piazza and see the Duomo at the end of the road. My room was the Quadruple Room at the back, so very quiet, I wasn't disturbed by the noise of students out front in the evening. The shower was always hot and Rosa was very helpful and responsive to any questions - including pointing out where the fridge was, which I hadn't spotted! I visited in March and was lucky to have sunny days, and fewer tourists than in the summer months. Perfect break in my favourite city.
