Rooms were basic, comfortable and clean - exactly what we needed! Check in was at the hotel across the road - all within walking distance - great location

It's an old hotel which is actually closed and the rooms are managed by Matis hotel nearby, where checkin and optional breakfast take place. The road where the hotel is located is quite and there are nice bars and restaurants at its doorstep.

We are walking the via Francigena - the hotel Bastimento is perfect for an overnight stay on the Via. Staff at check-in friendly and helpful

I got what it was proposed to be: Low prize with essential comfort. The owner runs nearby another Hotel "Mathis" with a cozy restaurant. If you're just looking for sleeping well and eating tasty dishes that's the right choice. I'll come back.
