We needed a cheap overnight stopover while travelling by train to Gothenburg from the UK. Hotel am Rathaus was about as near as we could find to the station (c 1km). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a highlight. The dining room is on the fourth floor, so we watched the sun rise as we ate! The food and drink choices were plentiful and the staff provided really good gluten free bread for my wife as requested beforehand. In short, it was fine as an overnight stop (in both directions!) but probably would not have been our choice for a longer stay in Flensburg.
