The hotel is very conveniently located for access to the train and the ferry, and that is what you are mostly paying for. The rooms are very basic - but not unlike any other good hotel. The included buffet breakfast was good and they had many options.

Hotel met our needs for a 1 night stay after arriving in the afternoon from the Flåm train and departing in the morning on the fjord cruise. Breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold choices.our room was clean,, warm and a good size. We had a nice view of the little town and the water. Easy walk to train and ferry even in snow.
