I did not realise it was a large, old but renovated motel, rather than a hotel as such. Value for money was fine, but it was nothing fancy.

the hotel was a positive surprise. the rooms were clean and pretty modern for the category. although big, the hotel provides enough privacy and is located at the route 66. we enjoyed the short stay. and would potentially select the Aspen again over cheaper motel options.
