We loved the property. It was a cabin, which is what we thought it was and what they advertised. It was clean and tidy, we were welcomed straight away, and the heater was on and place was super cosy. The water pressure was wonderful, the water fantastically hot. Our only complaint would be that the bed was super hard and caused us hip pain, but apart from that, it was great to watch the alpacas eating and moving around

Maydena is a great location to see Mount Field, Styx Valley and Lake Pedder. It is very peaceful and the property owners provide a very good list of places to see via SMS
