We absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful traditional house, which had so much more character than a modern villa. We got vibes of good memories there. Communications with Billi were great and we had everything we could possible want to know in the instructions she sent us. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything one could want on holiday, the living and dining areas were spacious. The property was spotlessly clean, the terrace and balcony gave beautiful views of the harbour entrance. The mosquito netting on the windows and doors were in very good condition, which I always appreciate as they like to bite me lots! We would certainly be back in the future.

Fabulous location. Next to the main hub but far enough away to be peaceful. Fabulous views from the house. Great outdoor spaces. Close to small beach across the road and just round the corner from shops and tavernas. Wonderful location.

Have to say this was the best booking.com rental we have ever stayed in. Bit hesitant to say how good it is as I don’t want it all booked up for next year lol. The house is an authentic Kefalonia house with beautiful shutters and old wooden floors. Saying that, it has every mod con you could wish for, from air con in every room, washing machine, dishwasher , fridge freezer, full oven , microwave and a wonderful bbq on the first terrace. The views are spectacular and we loved sundowners on the upper terrace watching the super yachts and the real sailing yachts come in and out of the harbour. I have never seen so many huge boats owned by the 1% in my life in one place. There is a wee bathing platform just down some steps across the road from the house which we loved and the beach around 2 minutes walk into town is great too. Our host was awesome - giving full info before we arrived and was our hero when a sudden gust blew the front door closed with the key inside at 930pm. Within 5 minutes , she had a friend come and open the door for us - really sorry about that. My bad! So a top tip would be to leave the keys in the outside of the door when on the terrace. We loved everything about this Dream House and Fiscardo and the Kefalonia. Our favourite cocktail bar is Theodora’s on the harbour front which we visited every evening for a pre dinner cocktail and absolutely filled up on our last evening yesterday when they gave us a wee leaving present. We ate at Foki Taverna 3 times , Elli’s twice, Captain’s House and Irinni’s all on the harbour front and Panormos which is the nearest to Our Dream House - all were spectacular. Cannot recommend this house enough - simply loved it. Thank you so much for hosting us. See you next year! Lesley & Chris

Perfect location within walking distance to the beach and main town. Very spacious with amazing balconies and views of the sea / town. Great aircon and WiFi. The hosts left some wine and treats for us and were very responsive and friendly to speak with.
