Late check in is available for passengers travelling on the late ferry. In these circumstances, no staff will be available to greet you. However, the property will leave the keys out in the hallway and provide you with a code for the front door. A warm welcome from Peter, though we were late arriving from the ferry. I had called ahead to let him know. We helped ourselves to a glass of wine before turning in, from the honesty bar. We had a great sleep, lovely room, quiet too, even though our room faced the road. A fabulous breakfast. Thankyou Jaqui and Peter. A lovely B&B three minutes from the ferry port. Comfortable and stylish accommodation. Warm welcoming hosts. Loved our chat and look forward to reading Jaqui’s book! BW Maggie & Steve

we use this hotel if taking the overnight ferry as it's quite close to the terminal and we have stayed here over many years. Ideally we would probably prefer a larger bed but that's a personal preference in terms of overall comfort. The bedroom itself including the shower are adequate for 1 or even 2 nights. The honesty bar is a great idea.
