The fine print
The property is located in North of Maldives approximately 125km away from Velana International Airport and can be reached via Seaplane transfer or Domestic transfer with speedboat depending on arrival and departure international flight.Shared seaplane transfers are arranged through a third-party operator and involve sharing the flight with other guests. These transfers are scheduled during daylight hours as per regulations set by the Maldives Aviation Authority. To ensure a smooth transfer, your international flight should arrive in Male before 3:30 PM. If your departure flight from Male is before 9:00 AM, you may need to depart from the resort the night before. The resort is approximately a 30-minute seaplane ride away from Velana International Airport.Keep in mind that the airline imposes luggage restrictions of 30 kg for checked baggage and 5 kg for carry-on baggage at no extra cost. Additional weight will incur a charge of USD 5.00 per kg plus taxes, payable at the seaplane check-in counter. For shared seaplane transfers, there's a minimum 2-hour waiting period at the terminal after check-in.Domestic flight transfer takes 20 minutes from Velana International Airport to Dharavandhoo Airport followed by a 10-minute speedboat transfer to the resort. Each guest (excluding infants) is allowed 20 kg total luggage. Any excess baggage is charged a cost of USD 3.00 taxes per kg and can be paid directly at flight check-in counter. Shared domestic flight transfers are arranged based on the schedule flights for the day and are subject to availability.Please share your flight details with the property at least 5 days before your arrival to secure your seat(s) for the transfer.

We stayed at Tree Top Villa for 10 nights and that was the best choice in terms of location and privacy. We love walking and riding bicycles, so the Villa located in the jungle was the perfect choice to make the vacation a bit more diverse if you are slightly tired from the beach and social life. Even when it was raining - the terrace with its very private pool (not very big but just ideal for one adult or a couple of kids), trees, bats and birds - that was really romantic. The villa itself was so beautiful (we liked the architecture and style, and the master bathroom was gorgeous). We stayed at Amilla in low season - end of April - beginning of May, and we enjoyed the feeling of privacy (though most of the villas were occupied - we saw other guests mostly in restaurants. The service was also above all expectations - our butler Gondo was in touch 24*7 via WhatsApp and all our requests were met immediately. All other employees were also very friendly and helpful (we are quite demanding clients - but here there were no complaints at all - very good!). The variety of menu types in all the restaurants is very impressive (kids menu, keto, paleo, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian, gluten free - and the personnel always keeps in mind your limitation). In all the restaurants they met our requests and cook in accordance with our wishes - that was more than convenient for us and three our kids with very different preferences. I also had very positive experience with the medicine department of the hotel - and they were very nice and helpful. In addition to describe the service - the meeting in the airport was perfect, the hotel has its very nice lounge where you could refresh and even check-in while having some healthy snacks and drinks with the great view. At the day of departure, the hotel's representatives accompanies us at the boat and in the hydro-plane, and at the check-in desk in the airport to the customs - that was very nice from them!

The staff was absolutely fantastic and incredibly kind! A special shoutout to Nappe and Dudu who took excellent care of us our entire stay!! The man making the pizzas was also really kind, the lobster pizza is a must try!
