I took a Cotisse from Antsirabe, but the winding roads made me so carsick that by the time I arrived in Fianarantsoa, I was exhausted. However, Matsiatra was close to the Cotisse station and I could get there easily. The receptionist at Matsiatra welcomed me warmly, and thanks to her, I was able to rest well and recover my energy. She also gave me precise directions to the taxi-brousse station for Ranohira, which helped me to get to Ranohira without any trouble.

Superb! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived very late on the first night and the lady who runs the place still cooked us dinner! Nothing seems impossible to her, she was so great and kind with whatever we needed that we called her The Super Lady. The food is excellent - home cooked, simple but very tasty! We rebooked the place again on our way back through Fiana and the experience was just as good.

It's an old colonial style small hotel, well maintained. The rooms are very spacious and the beds comfortable.The position of the hotel close to good restaurants, calm and safe.

Good location, secure parking, restaurant available, central. Perfect for en route the RN7. Excellent price/quality ratio.
