The property is about an 8 min walk from Place Rcif and one of the gates to the medina, so any taxi will drop you off there. The Riad is well sign posted, but having/using maps on your smartphone will help. The Riad itself is beautiful and in a quiet location. The breakfast, which was served on the roof terrace, was excellent. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and all could speak many languages (English, Spanish, Italian etc). Dinner there was also superb and quite affordable. The double room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

My husband and I stayed at Riad Rcif for 1 nights. The Riad from the outside is like a little castle, inside is a beautiful oasis. The host, , and his staff create a most inviting and comfortable retreat for the guest: He and his staff make you feel welcome. Monsieur Noor is like Mr. Roarke on “Fantasy Island;" he makes things happen for you. Your pickup is not on time, he gets on the phone to see where they are at; you want to go to the Souks without getting lost, he gives clear explanations of how to get in and out; if you need something, Noor goes out of his way to help you; he takes care of you.

The riad is beatiful. All the services provided by the staff were excellent. They were willing to go the extra mile to makes us feel comfortable and at home. Also the owner was present and very helpful and friendly with anything we need catering to our needs personally. I highly recommend if you plan on visiting Fez.

Stunningly lavish decor throughout the Riad and room. Very clean room. Helpful staff even found a stomach remedy when we weren't feeling well.

An impressive, heavily decorated interior in traditional Moroccan style. For us the highlight was the amazing, generous breakfast on a stunning rooftop with a fantastic view of the city. The staff was always welcoming and helped us with laundry and taxi to the airport, which was very much appreciated.

Welcomed by hotel manager Noor: such a beautiful, warm and helpful person; Noor is an awesome host, making us feel welcome immediately. He speaks perfect french, english and arabic. First he gave us a tour of the hotel, starting at the central hall where we were treated with fresh tea and sweets while he explained the history of the riad. The hotel is so so beautiful and authentic. The roof terrace is big, with beautiful seating areas and with a breathtaking view over Fez. Our room was perfect: nice bed, very cosy and big room, great bath room with superb douche. There is a nice swimming pool for freshening up. We had breakfast and dinner in the riad; breakfast was fantastic: tea, coffee, fresh orange juice, pancakes and other sweets, eggs, fruit and more. Dinner was also delicious; we took the mixed salads, kefta tajin and lamb tajine and verveine tea for dessert. But most of all, the staff is so amazing and friendly, always a big smile, eager to serve you. We were allowed to enjoy our dinner late in the evening (9pm) so we had plenty of time to visit the city. We asked Noor to get us in contact with a local city guide and already 20 min. later we met Abdul. he managed to show us all the essentials in Fez in less than 4 hours, for a very reasonable price. He guided us through the medina known for its spiritual and artisanal characteristics: the famous tannery, but also copper goods, textile, herbs, mosques, university, etc. His explanation about the history was so amazing, educational and clear (even helped us for our shoppings). Abdul was so patient, so kind and intelligent. We had a wonderful afternoon together. A BIG thank you, Abdul.

If you want to feel like home, you really need to stay in this truly unique and amazing Riad, which is very close to the souk of Fez! We stayed here for the second time and we had such a wonderful and unforgettable time again. The owner and the team Noor ,Hassan and Mama fatima the give you a very warm welcome as soon as you enter the riad. They are super friendly, helpful and caring. The Riad rooms look like you sleep in 'a thousand in 1 night' scene with authentic furnutire and details. The rooms are very clean and tidy. Also the interior of the riad is absolutely stunning and very well maintained. The breakfast in the morning is all home made and delicious. Same counts for the dinner in the evening. ThisRiad is the best and deserves more than 5 stars!

If you are doing a lot of research on the right riad to stay at, just book this one. It’s an amazing value for a 5-star service and comfort in Fes! Everything was perfect at Riad Rcif Alif. Especially the location, the dinners, the staff—literally all of it was 10/10. It’s very easy to navigate to because it is right At the Medina and one of the main gates, which is super helpful if you’ve never been here before. The building is restored and protected, so the riad is quiet, comfortable, safe, and stunning. If it’s your first time here too—this is a perfect stay. Soleman, the owner, is extremely caring and has amazing taste for great recommendations. He truly cares about his guests and his staff are also extremely caring and hospitable. They take such good care of you, are extremely generous with their service, and Noor will give you the best tips so that you can feel confident when touring in/around the Medina and new Fes. The dinner is unforgettable, the rooms are extremely large and comfortable, the AC is heavenly, and they have a great selection of wine bottles as well. I will definitely book here again when we are back and will recommend Rcif Alif to our friends!
