The accommodation is very beautiful, clean and very well equipped with a wonderful view of the sea and sunset. Nunno is a very warm host with great generosity that will make you feel at home. I highly recommend Casa Amelia.

The house was really beautiful! On arrival Nuno greeted us personally with edible presents. Everything was really clean and new. Nice terrace, calm neighbourhood. Even if the house is on not in the center of island, it is very easy to visit all the touristic locations. The host lives just next door, he always helped us with everything we needed. 100% recommendations!

Nuno and Solange are wonderful people and the nicest hosts you can imagine. We were welcomed with a nice basket with some local specialties, Nuno recommended several insider tipps for activities and places to visit, and one evening they brought over fresh sweetbread they had just baked. It was still warm (and delicious!). After 9 days, it felt like leaving friends we had visited. Also, it should be mentioned that Nuno is a talented and passionate artist, which shows in every aspect of the house. All the paintings are handmade originals, and the furniture and decoration is very stylish, yet unobtrusive. A perfect home to spend the whole day or enjoy the sunset after exploring Sao Miguel.

Perfect little house on top of the hill with breathtaking views of the atlantic ocean - even from the bed the scenery is stunning. The property is newly refurbished but also has a beautiful history. The hosts have put a lot of thought into the interior, with beautiful artwork made by the host himself. The whole family is incredibly friendly and will truly make you feel welcome and at home. Each room is impeccably clean. The kitchen is well equipped - you will want for nothing. We were travelling as a family. Our little boy especially enjoyed.the fish in the little ornamental tank, the neighbouring cows and playing with the hosts older son.
