Yunus and the cook were amazing, and the house cats really cute. The location of the riad was a short walk to the Medina, and close to a main gate access. My room was massive and the aircon worked really well. There are some great spots to eat in the back streets close by.

The Riad has a very authentic atmosphere, cool, spacious, carefully designed and decorated in the traditional Riad style. The garden is lovely, with a careful choice of plants and an attractive pool, deep enough to really swim. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was generous and well-presented. The bar offers wine and beer, very welcome after a day of sightseeing! If arriving in Fes by train, it is helpful to ask the staff to arrange a taxi, as like most riads it is not otherwise easy to find. The riad arranged an excellent guide, Raschid, for a day trip around the medina.
