Comfortable and clean, with very nice hosts who checked me in at around 11 despite check-in being listed as closing at 10. You can get a credencial here, which is great if you want an early start as you don't need to wait for the tourist office to open. TVs are Netflix/YouTube capable.

Hotel Almendra was such a great first night of the Camino Ingles 6 years ago. We are walking this route again and I had no hesitation in wanting to return. The room and bathrooms seem upgraded. Good beds and bedding and everything we wished for. The owners have had this hotel for 38 years, so it is their pride and joy. Functional, clean and easy to reach from the train station
