Spacious room. Appreciated having a small kitchenette, dining table and chairs, which was useful for preparing salads and cold meals. There was also a couch, so plenty of places to sit. Aircon was effective, controllable and essential when it was over 30c. Plus we woke up to a small medieval fresco in the room. The location suited us well, it was a 5 minute walk to a good breakfast cafe or supermarket, 10 minutes amble to the centre and the all-important gelaterias. Ferrara is a gem if you enjoy architecture and townscapes, with an unhurried atmosphere and very pedestrian and bike friendly.
