Due to the location of the property, hot water for shower is only available from 06:00 - 11:00 and 17:00 - 23:00. Fenchihu Hotel apologises for any inconvenience that this may cause.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Fantastic and authentic experience. Don’t expect a lot of luxury but that’s not needed. The experience and location makes up for it. For dinner you can buy the famous food box (choice of 2 or 3 meals) and for breakfast you get discount vouchers to buy food at the 7 eleven which is integrated with the hotel! Super funny and original. And of course the location with all the trails and train station is great!

Great hotel. Staff is super friendly, and room very spacious and cozy. The bento box is slighter more expensive than I other places in the area but I found it to be nicer. There is a 7-11 right upstairs which is very handy and they give you 100TWD voucher for you to spend it there and grab breakfast

The bento box for dinner was very authentic and a fun experience. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast but gives out 711 vouchers instead. The guided walk to see the fireflies at night was fun.

Nice spacious rooms which is great for an overnight stay in Fenquihu (or even longer!). Given it's located in a small town in a regional area, you do need to compromise on some comforts (e.g. the hot water is unavailable at certain times of the day, and breakfast consists of some vouchers to use at the 7-11 store upstairs). Highly recommended are the bento boxes on sale at the property - very delicious and great value for money! Fenquihu is a wonderful little town and the Fenquihu hotel is a great place to base yourself.
