Location was perfect: at the end of a long track surrounded by trees and fields and silence except for the occasional high aircraft. Tenanted cottage nearby but did not intrude on the peace and quiet of the the location.

Beautiful rural location within a farm. Village pub close and very warm and welcoming. Exceptional warm cottage..

Its setting, solitude, space, surroundings. The cottage, a chocolate box image, lies at the end of a long, long drive. There is a tenanted property someway off but we never saw or heard anyone, just birds and a combine harvester.

There was nothing per se we didn't like. It would have be nice to have a starter pack for the log fire ready for us and the side light working as the front door didn't open.
