Bed and Breakfast Overview

Situated 25 minutes drive from the historic cities of Bath and Bristol, surrounded by quaint villages and stunning countryside, The Old Parsonage is a Grade II* listed 17th-century house, which retains many original features such as period fireplaces and a 17th-century staircase.
Free Wi-Fi is provided at The Old Parsonage and en suite bathroom, smart flat-screen TVs, and tea/coffee making facilities. Rooms also include antique furniture and chandeliers.
A freshly cooked full English breakfast with homemade baked goods is served in the dining room for Bed & Breakfast guests together with coffee and a selection of teas, all complimentary. A large sitting room is available for guests to relax in and a courtyard and garden.
The cathedral city of Wells is a 20-minute drive away and features the oldest continuously inhabited medieval street in Europe and an impressive cathedral.

This ground-floor room has a smart TV, a private bathroom with full bath and power shower, and tea/coffee making facilities. The day bed can accommodate a 3rd guest, however accompanying children must over 10 years old. No pets allowed in this room.

Apartment (Self Catering) - enter dates to see room photos

This well appointed ground floor apartment is in a converted listed small barn in the courtyard of the Grade 11* Listed house. The apartment has an antique brass double bed with daybed sofa (converts to single), dining table and a 32-inch smart TV with complimentary fast wifi. The spacious bathroom has powerful rainfall & handheld shower (small step to enter) with fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, fan oven, microwave, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, and fridge. Milk, a selection of teas, coffee and breakfast cereals are provided as a welcome to help you settle in the room. Outside is a small dining area with access to the shared garden. This room is self-catering, is perfect for couples, friends or families wanting separate beds and has access to a washing machine on site. Ideal for short-term breaks or longer-term rental if working away from home. We accept dogs 'on request only' in this room.

This large luxurious room has an antique four-poster bed, sofa, tea and coffee facilities, smart tv, and large en-suite bathroom. The room overlooks the courtyard on the first floor of the Parsonage. No pets allowed in this room.

A light and airy room with pretty toile wallpaper. It has a double four-poster bed, a comfortable chaise lounge, and an en-suite shower room, tea and coffee facilities, smart tv. The room has views of the front garden and is located on the first floor. No pets allowed in this room.

Two-Bedroom Chalet - enter dates to see room photos

The Stables is in a converted barn in the private courtyard of the main house full of period character and available as self-catering. One double galleried bedroom with an en-suite shower room and one twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, with a separate shower and bath. Ground floor sitting room containing a comfortable sofa and chair, smart 40" TV with dining area, and a fully well equipped separate kitchen. Please note that the galleried bedroom features a low beam and is accessed via stairs. Therefore it may not be suitable for guests with mobility impairment. Pets are not allowed in this apartment.

Boasting a private entrance, this apartment features 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Guests can make meals in the kitchenette that has a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven. The house is wonderful. Full of history and the owners are very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast and very quiet room on the ground floor. Bed was really comfortable.
