Apartment very comfortable and clean. Supermarket and Food market 5 minutes away 2 amazing Fish restaurants 50 yards away and lovely Patisserie next door Easy walk to Marina and Old Town

The airport transfer was a great bonus. The apartment has two bathroom that was ideal for 4 of us. The location is very good, very close to the city centres with plenty of restaurants and shops. There is a coffee shop next door downstairs with a large variety of local baking and a big market across the road where they sell fresh fish and traditional sausages and cured meat.

I enjoyed staying in Faro old town away from the marina and main tourist areas. We particularly wanted a balcony. It was quiet at night -you could hear planes occasionally but not loud and if that’s a problem for you it’s best not to stay in Faro! The little balcony overlooked the street and the big municipal / fish market building. I loved watching people going about their business and visiting the fish market early mornings. Only a 10 minute walk to the marina and seafront.Plenty of local cafes and shops . The lower level of the municipal market is a huge supermarket so if you’re self catering shopping is super-easy!, right on your doorstep! The hosts were lovely when I spoke to them, communication was always good, and very friendly and helpful. The apartment is quite small but we loved it and felt at home very quickly. The balcony was a plus for me, somewhere to sit with a glass of Portuguese wine and soak up the local atmosphere. The kitchen had all the equipment you need to cater for yourself. The apartment was nice and light.
