Was a really nice couple days away, only around 20minute drive to Ambleside, yet still really felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. Views of windermere and clear nights in the hot tub made this stay really special.

Fab location with a view over Lake Windermere. Spacious cottage with modern conveniences and rustic charm. Powerful shower! Property also has a Scandinavian Hot Tub!

Note that due to heavy snow before our arrival this review does not relate to Hilltop Cottage which was inaccessible but refers to Crabtree Cottage which was provided by the hosts as an alternative. Lovely location, access to swimming pool. Welcome pack.
