Apparently, as I'd booked through Booking.com (third party) I had to pay £5 on top of my room payment to park. Why? I had already tried to book directly and the website payment had been rejected by my credit card company as possibly not secure. I used my Booking.com account instead as the price was the same, secure and reliable. Later to receive this news that a further payment was required, that wasn't mentioned in the terms and conditions beforehand is not acceptable.

Great location and great value. Short walk to the service station gives all the facilities you need…at service station prices. Bedroom fine but bathroom looking tired. Also only one useable socket in the whole room - and none near the bed. Needing a bit of an upgrade to compete with Travelodge standards.

Great location. We were able to take our dog and the staff were all amazing, really friendly and helpful. Comfortable, clean and large room. Had everything we needed. Great value for money

Spacious rooms- had a bath and shower with lovely hot water, and use of microwave and toaster in reception area with plenty of tea and coffee -helpful staff, no road noice although next to m5

Basic accommodation, but ideal for our stop off to break up a long journey. Lovely and clean, with huge bath towels 😊
