The location is absolutely stunning... waking up to a view of two waterfalls, a herd of sheep grazing nearby, and the dramatic mountain scenery was unforgettable. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and I even offered to take some professional drone shots of the hotel for them next time. The breakfast was fresh and tasty too. A truly peaceful place to unwind after battling the serpentine roads of the Transfagarasan. Its definitely worth spending an extra few euros to stay here than somewhere further down the mountain in one of the first cities. I’d love to come back!

The place has a great location, about 15 minutes south of Balea Lake, and beautiful scenery all around. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We had a small porch looking over to Capra Falls - we enjoyed the views greatly. We had a nice dinner in the hotel's restaurant and had a good breakfast as well. The whole place has an old-fashioned style, but it has its charm.
