Guest houses Overview

Situated less than a 10-minute walk from the centre of Exeter and a 20-minute drive from the Dartmoor National Park, it is next to the beautiful St Davids Church and cemetery. Townhouse Exeter is a Grade II-listed Victorian property modernised to provide guests with en-suite rooms and free WiFi. Some rooms have feature fireplaces and all come with towels and free toiletries. This guest house is committed to use locally sourced fair trade, home made and free range products when possible. The antique shops and boutiques of Topsham are a 20-minute bus-ride away, and a wide array of water sports can be enjoyed in Exmouth. The M5 motorway is just over 10 minutes drive away providing onward travel to Bristol and beyond. The major port of Plymouth is just under an hour away by car. Exeter University is 15 minutes walk away and a 5-minute stroll from Exeter Central Railway Station. If booking with breakfast, our continental styled breakfast is served in-room, delivered straight to your door in the morning.

The private bathroom is located directly opposite to the bedroom, and bathrobe&slippers are provided. Features USB charging ports, a TV, blackout curtains, and tea&coffee facilities. The room is located on the second floor, accessed by two flights of stairs. The room may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

Very nice room, everything you need. Extremely comfy bed one of the best night's sleep we've had in a while. Very central, 10 mins walk from train station. I asked for early arrival a bottle of fizz to be in room on arrival and for recommendations on places to eat in the evening, nothing was too much trouble for host.

Hosts went out of they way to ensure our needs were met. The decor of the room was warm and inviting, although we did not have breakfast if was offered and sounded very yummy. The little touches i.e. pillow spray were a surprising delight!
