The fine print
Minor works to complete the Exeter flood defense scheme will continue outside the property during the autumn/winter of 2019 and 2020 which can involve contractors working in close proximity to the garden/river elevation of the building. The property anticipate there only being a minor impact on the view from the room. Works usually only take place Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 and 18:00.Please note that Headweir Mill House does not have air conditioning as it is a listed building in a conservation area.Bar is closed from 2025-12-25 until 2025-12-25

Located near the city centre, really lovely setting by the river. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Though not much choice if you didn’t want a cooked breakfast.

Very pretty location beside the Exe river, in part of an old mill building. In addition to a lovely room I can recommend their restaurant. Ample on-site parking. It is only a few minutes walk to the centre of Exeter, but the walk is up a steep hill.
