Staff were very helpful when my partner was tripped & fell. They got out the First Aid Kit & gave me dressings & plasters to cover the scrapes on his knee. Parking was only €5, whether we were in the surface car park or the underground one, which meant we could safely leave the dogs in the car overnight. Also, the hotel is very close to the town centre with plenty of bars & restaurants around for an easy walk to an evening meal.

The room was a reasonable size although the couchette did rather get in the way: it wasn't needed as there were only two of us. The shower room/toilet was a good size but no bath. We didn't take the breakfast option but it looked good.

The important things were very good. Comfy bed, good breakfast, good shower, staff helpful good local knowledge. Secure carpark essential for us: we had bikes on back of our car
